EMM Market Maintains Consolidation Operations with All Parties Adopting a Wait-and-See Attitude [SMM EMM Daily Review]

SMM EMM Daily Review: EMM Market Maintains Consolidation, All Parties Remain Cautious EMM spot price in main production areas averaged 13,300-13,500 yuan/mt, flat WoW; FOB prices averaged $1,845-1,875/mt, also flat WoW. Supply side, EMM continues to focus on fulfilling long-term contracts, with spot orders remaining quiet and external quotations stable. Demand side, downstream steel mills are cautious in purchasing EMM, leading to a quiet trading atmosphere. At the beginning of the week, the market mostly adopted a wait-and-see attitude, closely monitoring actual downstream purchases.
March 24 update: The average spot price of EMM in the main production areas was 13,300-13,500 yuan/mt, flat MoM; the FOB price averaged $1,845-1,875/mt, also flat MoM. Supply side, EMM continued to focus on fulfilling long-term contracts, with spot orders remaining quiet and external quotations holding steady. Demand side, downstream steel mills were cautious in purchasing EMM, leading to a subdued trading atmosphere. At the beginning of the week, the market mostly adopted a wait-and-see attitude, closely watching the actual purchase situation of downstream buyers.
